Battersea Dogs Home offers a rehoming process is tailored to each applicant.

There’s no restriction on where you live, but you dog will need to be collected from one of the three Battersea Dogs Home sites. If you live more than five miles from the Battersea Dogs Home you can start the dog rehoming process online, and a rehomer will telephone you back.

The Battersea Dogs Home vetting process you to provide a letter of recommendation from a vet or rescue centre if you live too far away for personal visit.

Battersea Dogs Home assess each dog to find out what it’s like and what sort of home, lifestyle and environment would best suit it, and each animal is carefully matched to the most suitable owner.
How much does it cost?

The Battersea Dogs Home rehoming fee is £105 for dogs, and includes: Microchipping;Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment; Collar, identification tag and lead; A behaviour advice line for advice.

The dog may be neutered. If not, Battersea Dogs Home will provide a voucher towards the cost of neutering, and additionally the option of four weeks free pet insurance and a starter pack of food, advice and other offers.
